For this area, design needed a reason that you would be able to get from the best pit basement up to the first floor. With some brainstorming and experimental propping, we decided to use a mixture of bones and destroyed ceiling to create a "natural" ramp.

Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Eternal Throne (Zakuul Beast Pit)

My role as an Environment artist on The Old Republic was to build worlds. This consists of set-dressing, terrain sculpting and vertex painting, lighting, adding post fx, adding place-able VFX, and optimization.

The blockout of the level was created by designers to define scale and play areas, and it was my responsibility to work with them and integrate their planned mechanics into my space. All assets were created by other artists.
